An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Biological or Biomedical Sciences within the Department of Physical and Life Sciences at the University of Huddersfield. The person appointed to the post would be expected to contribute to teaching in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, genetics, pharmacology and/or bioinformatics and related subjects in the BSc Biomedical Science degree programme and other UG and M-level courses within the Biomedical and Life Sciences subject area.
With a Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline, you will work with an experienced team to support the delivery, administration and assessment of students. You will be able to demonstrate that you can support students through a range of methods and strategies to ensure a high-quality learning experience. This position is suitable for those with a track record of delivering education, research and carrying out associated administration, and you will be expected to establish a research programme and/or undertake research to complement and enhance existing research in the School.
You will be joining the subject area of Biomedical and Life Sciences, which is part of the Department of Physical and Life Sciences. The Department is part of the School of Applied Sciences.
