The Inclusionaries Lab (www.inclusionaries.com), based at the University of Liverpool, is looking to recruit an Inclusive Mobility Design Researcher to join a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) in collaboration with Duchenne Uk. The Associate will be based at Duchenne UK, supervised by the Inclusionaries Lab Director, and will work on innovative R&D projects in the MedTech and Assistive Technology sector.
The aim of the KTP is to transfer knowledge from the Inclusionaries Lab / University team to develop cutting-edge, inclusive hardware and physical products that make a life-changing impact. The KTP Associate will also take an instrumental role in helping to set up a first-of-its-kind Assistive Technology Design (ATD) Hub led by a third sector patient-led organisation, with The Inclusionaries Lab as a founding partner.
The Associate should have a research degree in User-Centred or Inclusive Design and experience in leading user-centred design research, ethnographic studies, and usability testing. They should have experience managing the design and development of AT products and applying user-centred design processes.
The post is fixed term and is available for 3 years.
