Are you interested in improving student experience? Do you want to work for a dedicated Estates Team? Join us at Birkbeck, University of London, in a challenging but rewarding environmental team.
We are looking for an Estates & Facilities Operations Support Officer to join the University's Estates & Facilities Team on a full-time, permanent contract for £30,803 rising to £34,346 per year.
The key purpose of this office-based role, located in Bloomsbury, central London, is to provide helpdesk support and first point of contact for any infrastructure, development, resource department, facilities and commercial services related queries from members of Birkbeck's community.
With strong administrative skills and customer focus, you will provide a friendly and proactive service to customers and conduct an efficient handling of each query, and advise customers of the consequent solution. You will also take the lead in our communications strategy with other departments and schools via our ASK-system.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are well organised, and you have the drive to deliver the operations of the helpdesk. You will work closely with Estates & Facilities to ensure the Team is providing a high class experience to all our students at Birkbeck. Due to the nature of this role, we would require you to be on-site Monday-Friday in a full-time capacity (35 hours a week).
This opportunity would build on experience as Administrator, Helpdesk Administrator, or Assistant.
Join us at Birkbeck as an Estates & Facilities Operations Support Officer, and make a meaningful impact on our students' journey. If you are passionate about supporting students, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you today.
