About the role
Dr Nir Grossman leads a £4.1 million ARIA-funded initiative to develop a minimally invasive deep brain stimulation (DBS) technology using temporal interference (TI) — a non-surgical method targeting deep brain regions via overlapping electrical fields. The project aims to treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. It involves cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering, neuroscience and clinical translation, and includes partners from Newcastle University, and the spin-out company MintNeuro. The goal is to demonstrate efficacy in preclinical models and pave the way for clinical application.
What you would be doing
The post-holder will be responsible for overall financial, contractual and operational project management of the ARIA project, including all its collaborative projects; thus ensuring the ARIA project is delivered on time, on budget and complies with all relevant research and information governance regulations.
