We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join us as a Finance Business Partner within the Business Finance Team to ensure the provision of high standard business partnering support for our Schools and Professional Services Departments by working closely with Deans, Directors and their teams.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for driving improvements in financial performance in a specific Academic or Professional Service area of the University by providing leadership, guidance and support on financial information and business performance. This will include leading the day-to-day budgeting and forecasting across the budget areas, completing month-end and year-end processes, completing external returns as well as management reporting.
The successful candidate will have relevant finance partnering experience and possess a recognised professional accountancy qualification. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with an enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the development of the wider team are essential as is the ability to build relationships to challenge and influence decision making at all levels of the organisation.
