The post is mainly based in the UK but there will be some required delivery in China.

Main duties and responsibilities

You will be a specialist in the critical theory and cultures of 2D Animation and will provide high quality teaching and research on the UG Digital Animation and other programmes as well as delivering some teaching at our partner institution in China.

If SRR is part of your role, you will continue to develop a programme of independent, academic research in an area associated with 2D animation producing high quality research outputs. Skill and experience required

You will have some experience of teaching at HE level together with a strong track record of research and publication. You will have an awareness of current academic and popular debates relating to 2D animation practices and cultures and experience of engaging students with these. Experience of teaching or supervising postgraduate students and/or of delivery in international contexts would be advantages.
