About the role
As a research fellow, you will be working within an MRC-funded transdisciplinary hub to decarbonise commissioning and delivery of healthcare – on sub theme 3a – Safe Re-Use of Medical Products (Infection Prevention & Control).
The research will focus on identifying and evaluating sustainable innovations in infection prevention and control (IPC) that reduce carbon emissions without compromising patient safety or healthcare outcomes.
You will be joining a Sub-Theme Team (Professor Mahmood Bhutta; Dr James Price; Jenni Wilburn (BSMS) and Professor Jennie Wilson (UWL) and will be supported throughout the research project.
About you
You will have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in a field relevant to infection prevention & control in a healthcare setting or have an appropriate level of experience in research in this subject area.
You should also have the skills to manage your own workload and work independently, while feeding into and collaborating with the team.
