The Faculty of Law, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint an experienced manager to oversee its Faculty Office functions.
The Faculty Business Operations Manager is responsible for managing the Faculty’s Executive and Finance operations; devising and implementing effective and efficient systems, processes and procedures for the Faculty’s governance, finance, information management, committee and executive services; and leading and managing a team within the Faculty Office. The role-holder is responsible for delivery of high-quality service across the remit of the role.
This is a very broad, varied and challenging role, liaising closely with colleagues at all levels and being a point of collaboration with wider Faculty and university offices and directorates, and with our external stakeholders. Candidates must have relevant management experience gained in a team leadership role. Proven experience of working at a senior level and of supporting and coordinating a broad range of governance, executive and /or finance activities is required. Previous experience of working in the Higher Education sector is desirable.
