The School of Health Sciences is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking educator to join our pioneering dental education team. As part of our commitment to the continued development of our Dental Hygiene and Therapy programme, we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (depending on experience) to provide academic leadership, programme development, and an excellent student learning experience. This is a full time and permanent role.
This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of dental hygiene and therapy education in Wales. You will play a central role in delivering innovative teaching, developing clinical placement opportunities with partners including Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Health Education and Improvement Wales, and ensuring our programmes remain aligned with General Dental Council standards. There will also be opportunities to expand the programmes offered across the dental field [including the University’s aspiration to establish a School for Dental Surgery].
