We are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Acting to design and deliver content across a range of modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, support and assess learners, contribute to curriculum planning and development and engage in research and scholarly activity

About the Role
Within the role you will design and deliver teaching, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in research that enhances student learning. The role involves securing external funding, building industry partnerships, and participating in recruitment and promotional activities. You will also contribute to academic networks, uphold quality standards, and support the School’s strategic goals.
We are looking for applicants with professional knowledge of performance in live and recorded media/new technologies (for example, film & TV, audio books, podcast, motion capture) An enterprising approach & entrepreneurial mindset is important, as it is key to the Acting programme’s ethos. You will be adaptable and emotionally intelligent and will understand the ever-changing cultural landscape of the creative industries, particularly emerging employability routes and the evolving nature of best practice across the Acting sector. Applications are welcome from professionals and academics with experience in Acting, or whose experience as Creative Producers and/or Directors intersects with Acting.

Additional Information
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
This is an onsite role, based at our Newton Park Campus and our Oldfield Park Theatre Workshops.
