The Wiener Holocaust Library (WHL) is the world’s oldest Holocaust archive and the home of Britain’s largest collection of published and unpublished works, documents and photographs relating to the Nazi era.
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual with a postgraduate qualification (MA or PhD) in Holocaust Studies or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will combine strong academic judgment with practical experience in research engagement and event organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and shaping the Library’s academic and public engagement activities during a time of transition. The post holder will curate and coordinate the Wiener Holocaust Library’s vibrant academic programme, including book talks, doctoral seminars, and collaborative research events, and contribute to the delivery of exhibition-related and partnership activities. They will also have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops and contribute to tours as well as to take part in the Library’s work for the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure and European Holocaust Research Infrastructure-UK.
