Senior Lecturer GP & Community Education

For successful candidate’s the school will benchmark to the appropriate NHS pay scale, clinical discipline and grade if in clinical practice. This is to be discussed as part of the interview process.

As Senior Lecturer in GP and Community Education (Module Lead) you can expect to be involved in:

• Delivering and contributing to the design of high-quality, demand-driven, and student- centred taught programmes as a member of the GP teaching team.
• Working under the direction of the Lead for GP and Community Education to ensure excellent integration of community-based learning within the KMMS programme.
• Undertaking additional leadership roles within the School as determined with their line manager.

What will you bring to the role?

• In current clinical practice within NHS General Practice and commitment to remain in clinical practice for the duration of the KMMS contract 
• A primary medical qualification and full registration with the GMC, with a current licence to practise 
• Current entry on the GMC General Practice Register with a Certificate of Completion of General Practice training (CCT) or equivalent
• Current entry on the GP Performers List for England
