About the role:
This is an opportunity for a project manager to join the new GSK–Oxford–Imperial Modelling-Informed Medicine Centre (MiMeC), a new collaboration applying mechanistic and data-driven modelling to accelerate and improve the development of novel drugs, devices, and lifestyle interventions. The centre brings together scientists, engineers, clinicians, and data experts from Imperial College London, the University of Oxford, and GSK to establish a world-leading hub for model-informed medicine.
What you would be doing:
As the Imperial based project manager, you will lead the day-to-day operational management of Imperial’s contribution to the Modelling Informed Medicine Centre (MiMeC) project. This will require working with Human Resources to set up contracts to work on a commercial project. Supporting secondments, placements and visiting researchers. This will include coordinating activities with GSK and Oxford, supporting project governance, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones, reporting, and communications across partners. You will develop and support the use of best practise project management procedures and will provide support for the management at partner sites.
