The role
We have a vacancy for a Dental and Maxillo-facial radiographer to deliver high quality teaching, assessment, and practical training in dental radiography techniques. This is an exciting time to join Bristol Dental School following a £36 million investment at our location in the centre of Bristol. With 119 dental chairs, 16 intraoral X-ray units, 4 OPG and a CBCT scanner the school delivers thousands of episodes of free dental care each year to the local community and makes a significant contribution to the local and national dental workforce.
We are seeking an outstanding individual to support the development of students’ dental radiography skills in the clinic environment. You will be involved in radiography teaching and assessment, using both simulators and with patients, and in further development of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The role includes the training of qualified staff members in the use of the radiographic equipment and enhancement of their radiography skills. You will help support the School’s quality assurance procedures for the radiography equipment, and assist staff in compliance with local rules and UK radiation legislation.
