Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in HE libraries?
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Academic Liaison Librarian. This exciting, varied, and developmental role contributes to the Library's Academic Liaison Team, and delivers support for students and staff across the faculties. It provides tailored library resources, collection management, advice and academic skills teaching. The role also contributes to the delivery of team priorities which may include online guidance, archives, researcher support, research data management, peer learning and academic integrity.
As an Academic Liaison Librarian, you will utilise your excellent people skills to work collaboratively with students, staff and Library and Learning Services colleagues. Your interest in higher education and enthusiasm for developing your own teaching skills will enable you to support the development and delivery of sessions for our Academic Skills programme. An interest in harnessing of generative AI tools, research data management and commitment to open scholarship would be welcomed.
This post presents an exciting opportunity to join BU’s innovative Academic Liaison Team within Library and Learning Services. This integrated team is responsible for the delivery of high-quality engagement and support to staff and students. A positive outlook and collegiate approach are essential.
