We are seeking a highly organised individual with relevant experience to take on the role of Library & Learning Enhancement (LLE) Administrative Assistant within the Library and Learning Enhancement Division at UEA. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support across all areas of LLE, ensuring front-facing services deliver an excellent student experience.

You will manage a variety of administrative processes, including shared inboxes, appointment booking, calendar management, contractor coordination, and purchasing. Working closely with colleagues across the division, you will respond professionally to enquiries and maintain key administrative systems. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

This varied and rewarding role requires excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Experience in a similar administrative role within Higher or Further Education is essential. You will be able to meet all the essential criteria as detailed in the candidate brochure.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.

We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. We particularly welcome applicants with the protected characteristic of race (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) for this post, as it is currently underrepresented at this level within the department. Appointment will be made on merit and all applicants will be scored against the same criteria.

Further information on our great benefits package, including 34 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and additional University Customary days (pro rata for part-time), can be found on our benefits page.

Please apply via the ‘Apply’ button above.
