The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
We are looking for a researcher to drive the preparation and analysis of new and existing large-scale wearable sensor datasets. You will be an integral member of the wearables group based at Oxford, led by Aiden Doherty. There will be exciting opportunities to collect new device validation datasets with accompanying validation measurements of activities of daily living (wearable cameras).
To be considered, you will hold, or be close to completion of a DPhil/PhD in wearable sensors or a closely related field and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes. You will also have the ability to manage own academic research and associated activities.
This is a full time, fixed term post (part time considered) until 31 March 2027. The closing date for applications is noon on 25 November 2025.
You will be required to upload a CV and a cover letter as part of your online application. The cover letter should clearly describe how you meet each of the selection criteria listed in the job description.
