About the Role
The School of Society and Environment are pleased to announce that we are seeking an individual to take up the role of Digital Learning Officer.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that staff and students in the School of Society and Environment (SSE), receive excellent support in their use of digital technologies for learning, teaching and assessment. The postholder will be responsible for supporting digital learning innovation and development and will support the successful delivery and continual improvement in the quality of the education programmes within the School.
You will support staff and students in the use of digital technologies, working closely with the Schools’s Digital Learning Adviser and Faculty’s Digital Learning Manager.
About You
You will have good organisational and communication skills, with an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital learning tools and technologies. You should have a customer-focused approach to work and good problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical solutions.

The School of Society and Environment at Queen Mary University of London is made up of three academic departments, History, Geography, and Politics & International Relations. The school has been newly formed and has circa 150 academic staff. It is home to a highly diverse cohort of students and offers a broad-ranging and methodologically plural curriculum in all three academic departments.
