Wolfson College is seeking a Communications Assistant to support and work alongside the Communications Manager, broadcasting Wolfson’s reputation as a progressive College with a vibrant academic community to future, current, and past members of the College.
The role includes coordinating the College’s social media accounts, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on the College website, assisting with website development and creating content for web and print publication.
The successful candidate will have an appreciation of branding and consistency across the College’s digital and print platforms. They will be familiar and have an affinity with different social media platforms. An excellent standard of written English, exceptional attention to detail, proofreading and administrative skills are essential. They will have confidence in learning new technologies, and have working knowledge of media editing software. Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with a vast number of internal and external College members is also crucial to the role.
The salary is £18,396 per annum for a 22.5 hour week. The actual working hours will be agreed between the post holder and their manager. The post holder will have the ability to work occasional evening and weekend events.
