This appointment is permanent but subject to funding that is available until 31st July 2028 in the first instance.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to play a key role in shaping, supporting, and enhancing our research management systems and services. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to improving the processes that support effective service delivery.

Working closely with researchers, professional services staff, IT colleagues, and external stakeholders, you will provide advice, lead requirements gathering, support system upgrades, and ensure the successful adoption of new and improved functionalities.

The postholder will provide high-level guidance on system use, processes, and compliance requirements, ensuring alignment with funder policies and institutional regulations. They will engage key stakeholders to inform system development and collaborate with subject-matter experts to deliver accurate and consistent advice.

The role also involves facilitating stakeholder engagement, reviewing and analysing requirements, and documenting business and technical needs for system enhancements and integrations. Working closely with system owners, developers, and end users, the postholder will ensure requirements are fully understood and effectively implemented.
