The research/teaching assistant or fellow will work in close collaboration with project PI’s David Cornwell and Clare Bond to deliver the AGFP capital project by end-July 2026. This will include contributing to postgraduate and undergraduate seismology and geophysics teaching (leading existing lecture and/or practical sessions), contributions to seismological node deployment, data QC and processing, and provision of support as required to the AGFP delivery team. The research/teaching assistant will also provide onsite assistance during drilling if needed.
For those who hold a PhD, salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6, £38,784 - £42,254 per annum and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
For those who hold an MSc, salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 5, £33,002- £36,636 per annum and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
