The Department of Land Economy is seeking to appoint a motivated, proactive, and highly organised administrator to join our professional services team.
Sitting within the Student Business Office, this role plays a key part in supporting teaching, admissions, examinations and student services across the Department. It will also provide dedicated administrative support to the Global Land Economy initiative, the Department's major strategic programme to expand international research links, secure funding and scholarships, and strengthen global partnerships in areas such as sustainability, urban development, environmental regulation, climate change mitigation, and real estate finance.
This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of departmental activity, collaborating closely with academic and professional staff in a dynamic and varied environment.
Working within the Student Business Office, the postholder will play a central role in coordinating the undergraduate supervision schedules for the Land Economy Tripos, supporting key academic processes, and ensuring effective delivery of teaching and assessment activities. They will help maintain and improve administrative systems, procedures, and documentation, and act as a key point of contact for students, academics, partner institutions, and external stakeholders.
This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, sound judgement, and a positive, professional approach to working in a busy academic environment.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 7 April 2027 in the first instance.
