Summary:
The Senior Events Officer will be responsible for organising and delivering events that are part of the Brunel University of London portfolio. This role will involve managing projects from conception to delivery including evaluation to ensure activities are aligned with the University’s strategic plan. The events portfolio includes but is not limited to Institutional/VIP events, Graduation events, research and engagement events, recruitment events and student and staff events.
The postholder will be required to work closely with colleagues across the University and with external agencies and suppliers. As an experienced events management specialist, they will have a leading role in Brunel’s campus coordination activity throughout the academic year, acting as a point of liaison on all events management issues. This role will report to the Associate Director of Events.
We are particularly looking for a candidate with experience in delivering recruitment events in person and online, such as Open Days and Applicant Days. This role will have a focus on delivering our recruitment events programme throughout the year working with academics and professional service staff across the University.
