The role encompasses the recruitment process and generalist HR support activities around the employment life cycle. The role is busy and varied, providing an opportunity to support some of the world’s leading scientists.
We are seeking someone who is confident to work independently but also as part of a team, effectively managing their own workload, when fully trained. You will be expected to solve ad hoc problems relating to recruitment and operational HR services, using you own initiative.
You will be educated to A Level standard or currently holding or working towards CIPD Level 3 (e.g. Certificate in Personnel Practice or Foundation Diploma in HR Practice). Previous HR experience or relevant experience with responsibility for complex administrative processes is essential. You will have up-to-date knowledge of employment law and a demonstratable ability to prioritise workload and produce accurate, detailed work within deadlines. Previous experience using HR database(s) (ideally PeopleXD HRIS or Peoplesoft, SAP or similar) is desirable.
