This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced Senior Finance Officer to thrive in a dynamic and busy finance team, providing management accounting support and ensuring compliance with University financial policies. Acting as the main point of contact for finance-related queries, you will deliver expert advice and support on a wide range of financial matters fulfilling compliance requirements and driving best practice within the department. The Department of Biology was formed in August 2022, merging the previous departments of Plants Sciences and Zoology. The department explores the breadth and diversity of life on earth at multiple scales in an increasingly interdisciplinary manner, and builds on a history of high-quality research from staff and students while continuing to inform and shape the direction of international bioscience research and policy.
