Research and Enterprise Project Delivery Officer x2 posts

As a Research and Enterprise Project Delivery Officer, you will provide practical support to Research and Enterprise (R&E) Project Managers and leads to ensure effective project delivery, maximise project success and minimise institutional risk. You will work across a portfolio of R&E projects, offering advice and guidance, supporting pre-contracting activity, coordinating internal processes and systems, liaising with partners, preparing project documentation and acting as the main contact for funders on project specific queries.

You will help manage key processes, including due diligence, gathering information from partners and escalating risks where required.

The role also contributes to the delivery of initiatives that encourage collaboration and interdisciplinary working across the university. You will support and deliver training on R&E project management, working closely with colleagues across RED and wider university teams.

We are seeking someone with high emotional intelligence who can build strong working relationships at all levels, demonstrating diplomacy, political awareness and a commitment to excellent service. You will bring proven experience supporting R&E projects, a strong understanding of funder priorities and requirements, and excellent problem solving skills. A solution focused approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines are essential.

Occasional travel to project partners may be required.
