Mental Health Nursing at UWE Bristol is part of the interdisciplinary School of Health and Social Wellbeing. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality teaching, excellent student experience and impactful research that connects academic understanding to contemporary mental health practice.
We are seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our Mental Health Nursing academic team. The postholder will contribute primarily to pre-registration, apprenticeship provision and CPD education.
We are particularly interested in people who have experience working in crisis services, CAMHS services, or older adult/Dementia services.
About you
We currently have two permanent Senior Lecturer posts available to join the team.
You will be an engaging and innovative educator, qualified to a minimum of degree level and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Drawing on your experience of mental health practice, you will demonstrate a clear understanding of the contemporary challenges and opportunities within the profession. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, supportive and stimulating learning environment.

This role is campus based, with some opportunity to work from home.
