This is appointment is for two years, with possibility for extension depending on future funding.
The Global School of Sustainability has established a new Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx), focused on leveraging, strengthening and amplifying research, and developing well targeted policy analysis and other outputs, by convening policymakers, and by providing technical support, assistance and capacity-building. This new centre will support the reforms necessary to deliver sustainable, inclusive and resilient economies and financial systems around the world.
The Executive Assistant will provide seamless, high-level support to ensure the smooth running of the CETEx operations as a key member of the professional services team. The post holder will provide executive support to the Executive Director, and the two Directors of CETEx, alongside providing a support function to the CETEx administrative operations. The post holder will also work closely with members of CETEx, including policy fellows and analysts, to ensure effective coordination, meeting preparation, and follow-up on actions.
Candidates will have demonstrable experience providing executive or administrative support to senior stakeholders in academic, policy, philanthropic or fundraising environments, as well as proven experience of planning, coordinating and delivering complex activities on behalf of senior leaders, including responsibility for all logistics, scheduling, and stakeholder liaison. Furthermore, candidates should have demonstrable ability to interpret and apply institutional policy and procedure when planning and delivering activities, and familiarity with the operations and governance of academic or policy-focused environments, including committee servicing and institutional reporting requirements.
