At Middlesex University, we have reshaped our Human Resources function to ensure we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, which has strengthened our ability to deliver an ambitious People Strategy that supports Middlesex University’s 2031 vision.
We are now seeking a proactive and highly organised HR Business Support Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will hold a key role within the team, enabling the smooth, effective, and strategic operation of the HR Directorate.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer-focused environment. You will provide high‑quality business and project support to the HR Director and the wider senior leadership team. You will act as a central coordination point within the department, ensuring we deliver on key priorities and maintain high standards with our service delivery.
The postholder will support the HR Director with a full range of administrative activities to support the service delivery of the department including coordination of committees, departmental meetings and events, diary management, project support and data management.
About You
You will be educated to Level 3 and bring strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including the use of Microsoft Teams. You’ll have direct experience of supporting a senior leader and managing competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.
As an effective team player with excellent organisation skills, you will also be adept at using your own initiative to plan and prioritise your own workload within a demanding environment, have the ability to multi- task and manage competing priorities.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time role which requires the post holder to work a minimum of three days in our offices based in Hendon.
If you have the required skills and experience and are keen to join a forward‑thinking HR department and play an integral role in supporting our people‑centred strategic agenda, then we would love to hear from you.
