Are you passionate about helping international students thrive during their University journey? We’re seeking a proactive Academic Engagement Coach – International to join our Student Engagement Team, within the Student Support and Success Directorate.
In this vital role, you’ll support international students to achieve their full potential, ensuring compliance with UKVI Immigration and Attendance regulations. You’ll monitor attendance and engagement, identify at-risk students, and design early interventions to keep them on track. From weekly attendance calling campaigns to leading face-to-face international student stage 1, 2 & 3 attendance meetings, you’ll play a key role in driving student success through the support of our international students to ensure successful attendance and completion of their course.
We’re looking for someone who’s an exceptional communicator, experienced data handler, and confident in handling sensitive or complex student issues. You’ll be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with academic and professional services teams to deliver impactful support in the monitoring of our international students.
We are London’s Campus University, based on a beautiful 54-acre parkland campus. This short video will give you a taste of life at our wonderful campus and its excellent facilities.
Professional Services/Support staff up to Grade RU6 have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme; and on RU7 and above, have access to the University’s Retirement Savings Group Pension Plan, a defined contribution scheme, provided by Royal London.
