Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Educational Development

Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Educational Development within UCD Teaching and Learning.

Applications are now invited for the temporary position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) in Educational Development. The post holder will contribute expertise to the design and delivery of the unit’s professional development activities aimed at those with a teaching role within the university, including its accredited programmes. They will have a vision and capacity to carry out independent research in the area of pedagogy/ teaching and learning in higher education. They will also work on a range of strategic projects at programme/school/university level to support UCD to deliver an enhanced and distinctive educational experience.

Initial areas of focus will include curriculum design, Generative AI, assessment and feedback, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) € 65,401 - € 103,564 per annum.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
