Job description

Full Time (FTE 1:00) , Fixed Term for 12 months

Henley Business School is seeking an Employer Relationship Manager to strengthen and grow our engagement with employers and industry partners, supporting internships, placements and wider employability outcomes for our students.

About the role
Based within the Employer Engagement team, this externally facing role focuses on developing strong, sustainable relationships with employers, positioning Henley Business School as a trusted source of talent and insight.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with employers to generate opportunities for internships, placements and industry projects
  • Developing and delivering employer engagement activities, campaigns and events
  • Creating and promoting clear, compelling employer-facing materials and messaging
  • Working with colleagues across Henley to align employer activity with employability priorities
  • Engaging with regional and national employer networks, with regular travel across the Thames Valley and to London

About you
You will be someone who enjoys working externally, is confident building relationships, and thrives in a role with varied stakeholders. You will bring:

  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Experience managing projects, campaigns or professional partnerships
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Confidence in engaging with employers and senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required

Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, marketing, sales, or higher education is welcomed, but we are open to candidates from a range of professional backgrounds who can demonstrate transferable skills.
