We are seeking a passionate and student-focused Business Tutor to join our Foundation & Pathways portfolio at the University of Roehampton.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting students at a pivotal stage of their educational journey. You will design and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Business-related provision, helping students develop the confidence, academic skills and subject knowledge needed to progress and succeed in higher education and beyond.
Working across programmes including Foundation Year, International Year 1, CertHE and Extended Masters, you will contribute to outstanding student outcomes through effective teaching, assessment, module leadership and academic support. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the portfolio to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, maintaining high academic standards while enhancing the overall student experience.
You will be an enthusiastic educator with experience of teaching Business-related subjects and a genuine commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
You will be confident in delivering engaging learning experiences, providing clear and constructive feedback, and supporting students from a wide range of educational backgrounds. You will understand the importance of building students' confidence and academic capability, particularly during periods of transition into higher education.
You will bring excellent organisational and communication skills, enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, and be motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to student success.
