You will contribute to teaching in areas such as filmmaking practice, documentary production, independent filmmaking, direction, cinematography and sustainable production practices. The role also includes supporting programme development, student recruitment, industry engagement, and research or professional activity, helping to ensure our provision remains innovative, professionally relevant and aligned with excellent graduate outcomes.
As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to redeployment, please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any stage of the recruitment process if a suitable redeployee is identified.

About you
You will be a creative and enthusiastic film practitioner with a strong understanding of contemporary filmmaking and production practices. Evidence of professional screen industries
experience and credited production work is essential, while experience of documentary filmmaking, independent film production and sustainable approaches to filmmaking would be particularly welcome.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be committed to delivering an outstanding student experience and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will bring current industry knowledge, professional networks and a passion for helping students develop the creative, technical and professional skills required for successful careers in film and related creative industries.
