The Role
As a senior Professional Services leader, the Head of Faculty Research Management will work closely with senior academic leaders, driving initiatives that enhance research performance, grow research income, support REF and KEF readiness, and strengthen the Faculty's national and international research profile.

Leading a team of Senior Research Managers, you will oversee research development activities, large-scale funding opportunities, strategic partnerships, performance reporting, and research support services.

We are looking for an experienced research management professional with a strong track record of developing research strategy, securing and supporting major research funding opportunities, and leading high-performing teams. You combine strategic thinking with excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with academics, funding bodies, professional services teams, and external partners.

The role is based at the Mile End Campus in London and is a full time, fixed term appointment for up to 12 months from early November 2026. The starting salary will be Grade 7, in the range of £64,331 - £71,834 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
