The purpose of this role is to deliver an outstanding student experience through research-informed teaching, impactful research, clinical practice, and knowledge exchange activities. The post-holder will contribute to the University's academic growth by aligning research with teaching, engaging with healthcare providers and professional bodies, and fostering an inclusive community where everyone can thrive and achieve their potential. You will work closely with colleagues across the College of Health, Medicine and Society to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, research, and clinical education.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy to contribute to the delivery, development, and enhancement of our undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in curriculum development, research, clinical education, student success, and partnership working with NHS and independent healthcare providers.

The successful candidate will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy programmes, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal, primary care, and/or other areas of clinical expertise. You will contribute to curriculum innovation, learner support, academic quality, placement education, and engagement with external stakeholders. The role also includes supervising students within the University's Primary Care Education Centre, supporting practice-based learning, and strengthening partnerships with the Primary Care Training Hub and other healthcare providers to enhance workforce readiness and graduate employability.
