We're looking for a Digital Content Designer to join the Digital Public Platforms team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the digital experience of our key audiences. Working within our talented, friendly and supportive Content team, you'll create, edit and improve content across a range of digital platforms and products.
You'll use content design principles, user insight and analytics to make content clearer, more accessible and more effective for our audiences. Working closely with colleagues across the University, you'll build strong stakeholder relationships, champion user-centred design and help ensure content meets the needs of our diverse community.
The role offers a varied mix of content design and stakeholder support. Alongside creating and improving content, you'll respond to enquiries through our virtual helpdesk, review and approve content created by others, support CMS training activities, build online forms and surveys, and use analytics and user research evidence to drive continuous improvement.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll play an important role in promoting user-focused content design across UAL.
About you
You'll be an excellent communicator with strong writing and editing skills and a passion for creating clear, accessible and user-focused digital content.
You'll have experience creating and editing content for websites, intranets or other digital platforms. You'll understand how to use evidence, analytics and user insight to inform content decisions and improve performance.
You'll be comfortable working with a range of digital tools and systems, including content management systems, analytics platforms and online forms software. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and agile ways of working would be an advantage.
We're looking for someone who is collaborative, organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and strong stakeholder management skills.
