Based in the Student Recruitment Marketing team, you will focus on supporting the continued expansion of Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary, which is highly regarded as one of the top medical and dental schools in the UK.
As a marketing and student recruitment specialist, you will have considerable experience of working in marketing, in higher education or a related field, and preferably knowledge and understanding of the UK medical sector.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident dealing with senior management and academics at all levels. You will be experienced with leading projects and delivering to deadlines and be able to formulate and deliver marketing activities and plans.
You will lead on student recruitment marketing for Barts and The London, and the Institutes within it, including market research and intelligence, programme development, advertising and marketing and conversion activities.
You will develop and implement (alongside teams across the university) an effective marketing and student recruitment plan for the School and Institutes within it with a view to increasing the number of high quality applications for taught postgraduate and undergraduate programmes from the UK, EU and overseas.
The post is a full time, six months fixed-term contract based across multiple sites (Mile End, Whitechapel and Charterhouse Square), with an expected start date of October 2018. Starting salary will be in the range of £37,411 – £44,015 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
