The School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work has a vibrant mix of students and staff with around 150 staff, 220 students taking doctoral programmes, nearly 800 Masters-level students, and over 670 undergraduates.
The appointed candidate will undertake research relevant to Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Applied Linguistics in line with the School’s research strategy. They will be required to teach at postgraduate level, undertake scholarly activity and to contribute to the School’s administration/outreach activity in the subject area of (TESOL) and Applied Linguistics, and particularly in relation to the School’s MSc TESOL and EdD TESOL courses.
