Bedford College, are currently recruiting for a Lecturer (Teacher) of Pathways (Foundtation Learning) at our Bedford College, Cauldwell Street Campus.
Lecturers at Bedford College play a pivotal role in the success of our students by preparing, delivering, and assessing lessons across a range of courses and levels. You will teach and support students with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities, guiding them to achieve success and reach their full potential. Additionally, you will manage students' learning experiences, contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching methods, and participate in marketing and promotional activities to enhance our programmes and learning opportunities.
Ideal candidates will have recent experience teaching and assessing at Entry level and above, including students with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities. They will possess up-to-date knowledge of developments within SEND, and have a proven ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of promoting equality and diversity in their role, along with a track record of high performance and success in meeting team objectives and deadlines, alongside the following qualifications:
