Applications are invited for a Research Assistant or Research Associate position on text mining of electronic health care records in the Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation at the School of Informatics.

An appointment could be made at a broad range on the salary scale, subject to experience and qualifications. Applicants must, at a minimum, have a good UG degree in Computer Science or similar discipline. A more senior appointee (Research Associate) would have a PhD in Computer Science (or be close to completion), with a track record of high quality publications. Job descriptions for each level are outlined below. The level of appointment would be determined by the selection panel following interview.

This full time position is available from 01/12/2018 and fixed term until 29/03/2020.

Salary range: £27,830 - £32,236 (UE06) or £33,189 - £39,609 (UE07)
