Applications are invited for the position of Senior Teaching Fellow in Mathematics Education. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant Primary team and the School’s ITE team, shaping sector-leading provision for Moray House School of Education in the subject area of Mathematics Education.

You will demonstrate established contributions to teaching and learning, preferably with academic experience in the HE sector. You will have established credibility in the field of Mathematics Education, making an impact at authority or national level.

In the discipline/subject area of Mathematics Education, you will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by developing, teaching and administering Mathematics Education courses across a range of Initial Teacher Education programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will work as a member of a team in the development of visions for Sustainability Education and STEM in the School of Education. You will represent Mathematics Education, in its broadest sense in appropriate networks nationally, including across the University of Edinburgh Teacher Education Partnerships with Local Authorities and schools and collaborations with learned societies (i.e. research and professional associations; outreach providers).

This post is a full-time (35 hours per week), open ended post.
