It performs world-leading consumer research and educates across BSc, MSc, MBA, Executive and PhD programmes.

Responsibilities

The Group is seeking to appoint an outstanding academic as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Marketing.

The appointed academic will carry out world-leading or internationally excellent research in any field of marketing or consumer behaviour. Preference will be given to candidates with a profile in digital marketing. The appointed academic will provide high quality education on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Principles of Marketing and Digital Marketing.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have completed, or will be close to completing, a PhD in a relevant field. For appointment as Lecturer, evidence of delivering high quality and innovative education is required, as is a strong potential to publish research of world-leading or internationally excellent quality. For appointment as Senior Lecturer, a record of world-leading or internationally excellent research and a commitment to delivering high quality education are required. He or she will demonstrate the skills and experience to make a significant contribution as a member of the academic community and to the achievement of the academic objectives of the School, including taking a lead on one or more aspects of research or education.
