The Directorate of External Relations is looking for an innovative individual to manage a team in order to implement the University of Suffolk’s student recruitment and outreach strategy.
About the role
You will play a central role in supporting academic teams in their student recruitment activity in order to grow our student numbers locally, regionally and nationally. You will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of members of the student recruitment team and the coordination of a wide range of associated activities. Our relationship with schools and colleges and the services we offer them are crucial to our growth in student numbers and you will play a key role in growing and maintaining those relationships. You will work with other teams across the Directorate and with academic teams and other Professional Services teams in order to ensure a joined-up approach to student recruitment activity across the University. This is an exciting time to join the Directorate as we continue to grow and develop.
To be successful
To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge and experience of current issues in the higher education sector, in particular an understanding of UK recruitment, admissions and outreach issues. You will also have experience of monitoring against targets and objectives. You will have credibility and confidence in engaging with stakeholders, including senior managers and leaders.
