The Centre for Population Health Sciences at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for an administrator to provide high level administrative support and general secretarial support to the Artificial Intelligence and Multimorbidity: Clustering in Individuals, Space and Clinical Context (AIM-CISC) Team.  
The Opportunity:

This exciting post will be part of a newly created four-person administrative team and will involve undertaking a range of duties including general administrative support, meeting organisation and minute taking, organising seminars and workshops, financial processing, and general office support for AIM-CISC and related projects.

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Educated to at least Higher Standard or equivalent (minimum Higher English). 
  • Either an office administration qualification (N/SVQ 3, ONC or equivalent); or good all-round office skills with significant experience in a similar role 
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent numeracy, written, oral and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and databases.
