Are you talented and successful project or event co-ordinator looking for an opportunity to develop or use your skills in research evaluation?
If you are keen to help communicate how much of a difference research makes and have experience planning and organising successful networking events we'd love to hear from you. This role will involve setting up opportunities for collaboration between researchers and industry. You will also have the ability to conduct research evaluation, however this is a development opportunity for someone who has an interest in developing those skills.
You'll need good data analytical skills and have experience of using a range of information management systems.
You'll also have a good understanding of higher education, and the ability to build strong working relationships across the University.
The Centre for Digital Entertainment (CDE) is based in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath, and in Bournemouth University. We run an engineering doctorate (EngD) programme in digital entertainment in collaboration with a wide range of industrial partners in the creative sector. Our research engineers and their supervisors do some fantastic research.
The role will have two main functions:
You’ll play a pivotal role within the CDE providing high quality support to our researchers.
This is a fixed-term period until October 2023. You can apply on a full-time or part-time (minimum 0.6FTE) basis. Please indicate on your application which hours you would prefer. The role is office based, however we are currently hybrid working. There will also be a some travel for work.
