The School of Health and Psychological Sciences is dedicated to the education and development of health professionals and the performance of high-quality research. It is located in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. The School offers students excellent academic tuition at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We offer pre-registration degrees in: Nursing, Psychology, Midwifery, Radiography, Optometry, and Speech and Language therapy, while our suite of master’s programmes includes advanced courses in Nursing; Psychology ; Midwifery; Radiography; Optometry; Speech, Language and Communication; Health Management, Policy and research; and Food Policy.
Responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate with an extensive knowledge and academic qualification in the area of human biology and pathophysiology to join an existing team of academics who teach biological sciences across a wide range of programmes. The successful applicant will be an NMC registered nurse and you will provide high-quality education to our undergraduate and postgraduate students and demonstrate an ability to be innovative and flexible to meet the changing needs of the workforce.
Person Specification
The appointed candidate will have a higher degree in an appropriate health/biology science, NMC registration and a relevant teaching qualification, or a willingness to undertake one.
