We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Research Assistant who, with support, will lead participant recruitment of parents of preterm babies and healthcare professionals, and qualitative data collection and analysis, to evaluate the implementation of a care bundle to improve mother’s own milk feeding and rates of necrotising enterocolitis (life threatening gut condition), across 11 neonatal units in the East Midlands.

Working collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team, you will lead the planning and delivery of qualitative interviews with parents and healthcare professionals from the 11 neonatal units involved in the evaluation and analyse and report findings. The ability to adapt approaches to engage potential participants to encourage participation is important.
