Due to growth and development within the Unit, we are looking to appoint a Deputy Facilities Manager (Trades). This is a new post and the postholder will be required to support and deputise for the Facilities Manager (Trades) as required in addition to having a subset of individual responsibilities of their own which will be assigned by Facilities Manager (Trades)
You will have experience of managing a multi-disciplinary trades team and must demonstrate the ability to work at a strategic and operational level using your knowledge and experience of current construction related legislation and practice. You will have a key leadership role in the delivery and management of the service, and you will also be key in driving continuous improvement and the management of a high performing and well- motivated team.
Essential skills include those of leadership and teambuilding; proven and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. You should have a good understanding of construction and health and safety practice/legislation to include CDM 2015. You should have the ability to respond in a composed and constructive manner to ensure desired outcomes.
