Applications are invited for the above post based within the Faculty of Engineering, at the University Park Campus.
The post holder will be part of a small team responsible for providing expert health and safety advice to the Faculty of Engineering. The role is predominantly based at University Park although there will be some requirement to visit Jubilee Campus.
The Faculty of Engineering has a broad and complex range of health and safety risks and the Faculty Health and Safety Team provides competent advice to all faculty staff in order to manage those risks.
Working within the team the post holder will be involved in the organisation, planning and undertaking of audits across the Faculty, providing expert advice to our stakeholders and customers, contributing to the development of the Faculty Health and Safety Management System, ensuring that active and reactive monitoring is undertaken, evaluated and closed out and will promote a positive health and safety culture.
Due to the nature of the work, attendance on campus is required but flexible working is available to enable a good work/life balance.
